Everyday Enchantmet Valentine's Day Ensemble

February is officially here and that means Valentine's Day is not far away. As part of my tribute to the month of "love," I created this Valentine's Day Ensamble using the Everday Enchantment DSP available in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. I created two cards and one pillow box treat holder.
I thought these items were super cute, and I used two of them for a customer's workshop that was hosted this week =)

Baja Breeze is truly  becoming one of my favorite shades of blue! It looks great here against the Poppy Parade Polka Dot embossed layer. Soft Suede also compliments very well to help achieve a vintage/antique look to a project.

Card Recipe
Paper: Baja Breeze CS, Poppy Parade CS; naturals white CS; Pear Pizazz CS; Everyday Enchantment DSP
Stamps: Sprinkled Expressions (2012 sale-a-bration item)
Ink: Soft Suede; poppy parade; baja breeze; pear pizazz
Accessories: baja breeze pleated satin ribbon (2012 occasions mini)
Tools: full heart punch, scallip trim border punch, curly label punch, little leaves die

I made this pillow box treat box to coordinate with the above card.

Porject Recipe
Paper: Baja Breeze CS; Everyday Enchantment DSP (2012 sale-a-bration); Naturals White CS
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Tools: Pillow box die, full heart punch, word window punch
Ink: Poppy Parade; Soft Suede
Accessories: Calypso Corral Organdy Ribbon (2012 Sale-a-bration)

For the second card in this ensamble, I decided to switch up the colors a little bit.
Card Recipe
Paper: Confetti Cream CS; Poppy Parade CS; Baja Breeze CS; Everyday Enchantment DSP
Stamps: Just Beleive
Ink: Poppy Parade
Tools: Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch; Full heart punch; Word window punch; modern label punch

Technique Tip: If you're wondering how I made the edges like I did for the DSP square, I first cut a 3x3 sized suqare of Everyday Enchantment DSP. Then I took the dotted scallop ribbon punch and punched in the middle of each side of the square to form the square corners. I hope this explanation makes sense =) Once I get a tripod for my Flip video, I plan on make short videos of some techniques I use.

Hope you all enjoyed today's post!
